7 May 2019

Following on from our recent set of tips to with help your communications, we thought we’d share some more. This time it’s all about exhibitions and here are our ten tips to help make yours a success…

1  Think about where to exhibit

Firstly, you need to make sure that you are exhibiting in the right place. Don’t just jump in before doing your homework. There are thousands of exhibitions taking place each year so make sure you ask the right questions before you commit. Is the show well established and well known within your field? Are potential visitors to the exhibition going to be your target audience? Find out everything you can from the show organisers, and if you are sure that this is the right event for you, ask for a floor plan and book the right space, early.More

New Cardiff People First Gig T-shirt

14 April 2019

We were delighted when Cardiff People First asked us to design a t-shirt for their ‘Events for All’ gig which they recently organised at a well known Cardiff live music venue. The self advocacy group, run by and for people with learning difficulties, organise and attend many events, and enjoying live music is something they love to do. With gig dates on the back and a lively logo on the front, the t-shirts were well received by everyone. We hope to see more of them in and around the Cardiff music scene in the future.

Cardiff University Data Innovation Accelerator

11 March 2019

The School of Computer Science & Informatics at Cardiff University contacted us when they were looking for an agency to work with them on their ‘Data Innovation Accelerator’ project. We were chosen to design and create a report template which could be revised and edited for 80 external organisations who would be involved in the project. Each report would generate unique information, and so needed to be easily editable by staff at the department. We created the editable template in MSWord which allowed the client the accessibility they needed whilst ensuring we adhered to the University’s strict brand guidelines.

From websites to woodwork…

21 February 2019

We enjoyed the surprise February sunshine this week when we got to spend a day working outdoors on a project for Coed Cadw/The Woodland Trust. Our client needed a variety of materials to help them facilitate an event at their national head office. These included roll up banners, printed materials and… a wooden fingerpost! Our woodwork skills were put to the test and we had great fun building the prop which helped our client have a successful day.

New website offers online counselling service

12 January 2019

We have recently completed a new website for Horizon, an organisation offering sexual violence support services in south Wales. Horizon wanted to offer an online counselling and appointment booking service. We worked alongside them to design and create the resource they needed. Building a robust site which gave the client the ability to manage their online services through a bespoke CMS system, as well as being a welcoming and easy to use site for their service users was of primary importance. We are delighted to see the site being used successfully by both.

Generation Z Infographics

3 September 2018

The Federation of Small Businesses needed a set of graphics to highlight 10 key features of a campaign about Generation Z (those born after 2000) and entrepreneurship. The research from the University of South Wales focuses on the next generation of entrepreneurs and how they are different from the generations that have gone before them. The graphics had to work individually and as a set and be suitable for online and social media use, whilst keeping within the organisation’s corporate guidelines.

The client told us: “This looks fantastic! Thank you so much – it’s exactly what I was hoping for.”

Bringing the Outside In

21 June 2018

We are delighted to have completed installation of new decoration for the Woodland Trust’s Wales offices. Full-height wall graphics featuring seasonal treescapes now decorate each room and these are complimented by unique signage which will feature timber from Welsh estates. The project also included the design and installation of branded office furniture and a contemporary hot desk space.

The client told us: “I would like to add my congratulations to you all for a brilliant job done within the challenging deadline that I set, so many thanks to you all. It looks fabulous and an office I will be proud to show visitors and my colleagues from outside Wales.”
